"My time at Lilima could only be described as some of the most
interesting days of my life. Truly unforgettable through and
through. I have nothing but appreciation for the teachers that
taught me not only the basic academic skills one would generally
acquire in high school, but also incredibly valuable life skills
gained through activities like working on the cook team, budgeting
for intersessions on the planning team and partaking in those
intersessions to learn all sorts of things from survival skills to
history to nature preservation. I would also like to specifically
extend my gratitude to Mr Mduduzi for teaching me to be a natural
sceptic who looks at information beyond face value and always ask
'why' when those in power say something and present it as pure,
unchanging fact. That skill in particular has been incredibly
useful in the modern, ever changing political climate."
